- The First Dates are Blind Dates – Honestly? We kinda hate this–you don’t get a sneak peek at your date before you meet up. No picture, nothing. You just have to cross your fingers and hope they are your physical type, and that’s a lot of trust to place in a matchmaker. We know dating profile pics can be deceiving as well, but at least you have an inkling of what a match looks like.
- Cost – How much does Tawkify cost? A LOT, that’s how much. While $99 isn’t a huge expense for a 1-year membership, you aren’t guaranteed any dates–there’s what seems like a lottery selection, and “Members” are picked to be matched at random. If you upgrade to a “Client,” you are given every tool to succeed, but you’ll have to shell out a lot of money for the privilege.

Creating Your Profile on Tawkify
We signed up for a Tawkify profile on a web browser–there is no mobile app at this time– and it took us a bit longer than usual due to the screening and questions, but it was no more than 10 minutes in total.
Step 1: Go to Tawkify
Go to the Tawkify homepage, enter your first and last name and email address, then click the “Let’s Go” tab. Next, enter a valid mobile phone number and your zip code.
Step 2: Answer Basic Questions
Now, read a little about what Tawkify offers and then provide your gender, who you are open to dating, your date of birth, the ages you are interested in dating, your profession, income, and the importance of career/income matching in a partner.
Step 3: Answer 3 Matchmaking Prompts
Tawkify will give you three important prompts to answer why you are interested in the matchmaking service and how soon you’d like to be in a relationship.
Step 4: Enter Personal Details
Tell Tawkify your current relationship status, ethnicity, religion, and height.
Step 5: Dating Preferences
Tell the Tawkify experts what you are looking for in a potential match so they can pair you with someone compatible. Click the “let’s go” button, and let’s do this!
Step 6: Upload Profile Photos
The last step is to add profile photos to your Tawkify profile! The platform guides you on what sort of pictures you should add—two images are required, but you can add more!
